Q. Do I need medical experience to volunteer on an OSMM trip?

A. Not at all! A willing spirit and a heart for serving are all that
you need. In fact, we find that having 30-40% of the team
non-medical usually works best.

Q. Are sponsorships available to help pay for my trip?

A. No formal sponsorships are available, but we encourage
people to reach out to friends/family, churches. We find that
the money is the easy part, just getting the word out makes
all the difference. Often it’s an unknown benefactor that
donates!

Q. How old do you have to be to go on a trip? Can I bring my child?

A. Applicants are required to be 18 and older or accompanied
by a parent/guardian.

Q. Do i have to be a christian to volunteer?

A. Not at all. We do ask that you respect our Christ-entered
values before and during the trip.

Q. what does my donation pay for?

A. The mission team fees pay for flights, transportation,
room and board while in country. Other donations to
OSMM will be allotted to the various outreaches we have. If
you have a specific outreach you wish to contribute to, you
can designate your donation to that cause. We often post
specific needs via social media.
